Thessy Schoenholzer Nichols

Thessy Schoenholzer Nichols is a historian, conservator and artist specialised in lace, historical pattern making, restoration and unusual textile techniques such as tassels and braids. She has worked on the grave costumes of numerous important families such as the Medici of Florence and the Malatesta of Fano and has published numerous texts on the history of costume and lace history. She teaches at Polimoda in Florence and also for the University of Florence.
